Portrait photos (optional)
If you use the automatic skin tone detection feature, your photo is sent once to Anthropic's API for analysis. The image is not stored by Haishoku and is not retained by Anthropic beyond the single API call. You can use the manual tone selector instead without uploading any photo.
Garment photos (optional)
Photos uploaded to the wardrobe matcher and colour checker tools are processed entirely within your browser. They are never sent to our servers.
Payment data
Payments are processed by Stripe. Haishoku never sees or stores your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing.
Purchase records
When you purchase a report, we store your Stripe session ID and tone selection to verify your purchase and deliver your report. This data is held by Stripe.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure visits and feature usage. Google Analytics may process your IP address, device type, and approximate location. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Local storage
Your tone selection, outfit preferences, and theme setting are saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers your choices between visits. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Outfit illustrations
OpenAI receives garment colours, an abstract skin-tone colour value, style, and weather preference to generate outfit illustrations. Your portrait photo is never sent to OpenAI. Generated illustrations may be stored publicly by Vercel under an unlisted cache URL so the same colour combination can be reused.
